Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Structures)

Department: OSC SRM Sheet Metal

Reports To: Maintenance Manager (Structures)


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  1. Schedule manpower to accomplish assigned structural maintenance activities
  2. Coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow.
  3. Ensure that GMM, RSM, and FAA regulations and procedures are followed.
  4. Coordinate with engineering to resolve structural issues beyond the scope of FAA

approved/accepted repair data.

  1. Keep a clean and safe work area at all times. Ensure that waste materials, oils, alodine, and other fluids are properly handled.
  2. Perform any other duties assigned by the Structures Manager or Assistant Structures Manager.
  3. Interface with the Structures Manager to recommend improvements needed to increase performance and quality.



QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to travel, work overtime, weekends & days off. FAA Airframe license required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; 5 years min, experience in structures on commercial category aircraft.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
