The Impact You Will Make

The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the site’s facilities maintenance program.  Supervises the maintenance, repair and sanitation of the site facilities following site guidelines and site & Corporate SOPs.  Manages multiple functions, projects, colleagues, and contractors across multiple site facilities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, training and development of colleagues consistent with Kindeva values. 
  • Maintain technical skills in the latest techniques for facilities and their technology as applied to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop objectives, long range plans, standards of service and performance of facility teams, and their respective programs.
  • Direct and manage all facilities services across all St. Louis locations acting as primary point of contact.
    • Supervise colleagues and contract services, for a multi-faceted multi-shift manufacturing operation in compliance with company and corporate policies.
    • Manage all facilities related services to include, but not limited to, sanitation, sanitation supply inventory management, grounds/landscaping, pest control and snow removal to support 24-hour seven day per week operations.
    • Facilities planning, and facilities maintenance including, but not limited to, painting, plumbing, electrical, janitorial services and HVAC.
  • Manage all leased facilities acting as point of contact for all interaction with landlords, managing all maintenance, sanitation, and janitorial activities and services. 
    • Define and manager facilities expense projects, including project scoping, Bid request and evaluation, and project management.
    • Work with engineering to provide support for various facilities capital projects for new and/or renovations, including design, construction, verification and operations.
    • Manage all facilities related expenditures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or graduate of a trade school in a technical science.
  • Minimum of six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant experience in facilities maintenance:
      • Electrical
      • Plumbing
      • HVAC
      • Mechanical/structural
