  • Develop geometrics and prepare detailed plans for the construction of safe and efficient roadways
  • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents
  • Review work performed by less experienced Engineers and provide them coaching and mentorship
  • Serve as Engineer-of-Record on a variety of roadway projects from arterial widenings to multi-level interchanges, for a variety of clients from DOTs to Contractors to municipal agencies
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Transportation Discipline Leaders
  • Prepare marketing materials and collaborate with project teams during pursuits
  • Provide engineering support for projects in construction

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive experience working on FDOT or similar public agency projects
  • Florida PE license or ability to obtain one within six months
  • Strong background in roadway design principles, criteria, and plans production processes (preferably with FDOT)
  • Proficiency with Open Roads Designer
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a timely fashion to meet project schedules
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals
