This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

The Vertical Integration Strategy and Execution team is responsible for leading strategic cross functional projects to guide high value and high impact decisions across the supply chain. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will lead strategic supply chain initiatives for various spaceflight systems. You will work closely with your peers to provide detailed analysis of the capability, capacity, and resource requirements necessary to vertically integrate critical components into the organization. This role will be responsible for deep diving the specific challenges of a process and communicating the relevant information for senior leadership evaluation. Strong analytical, operational, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role. Potential projects include in-source versus outsource strategic and financial analysis, technical capability, cost-benefit analysis, inventory strategy evaluation, process document authoring, enterprise software requirements management, creating strategic business processes, chartering the tool sets necessary to launch them and other ad hoc cross-functional strategic projects.Additionally, this role will be expected to develop reliable and repeatable processes to streamline data collection and analysis to quickly provide the relevant information needed to successfully evaluate resources, costs, cycle times, and lead times associated with targeted projects.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of leading and presenting cross-functional initiatives for senior leaders
  • Proven success owning and driving a project from start to finish
  • Led quantitative and qualitative projects
  • Demonstrated success in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MBA, other relevant graduate degree, or 5+ years operations/supply chain experience

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
