Position Summary
The Graduate Assistant Artistic Swimming Coach will serve in all phases of a competitive artistic swimming program in accordance with US Collegiate, USA Artistic Swimming and University of Incarnate Word rules and regulations. The Graduate Assistant Artistic Swimming reports the the Head Swim Coach.
Essential Functions
  • Assist with team travel;
  • Assist with Recruit communications/management of process;
  • Assist with scheduling in CARALOG;
  • Assist with on deck coaching;
  • Assist with management of team roles;
  • Assist with competition management;
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience competing in collegiate athletics;
  • Experience coaching artistic swimming;
  • Experience in leadership.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
Work Hours
  • Monday - Friday during various hours.
  • Some weekend hours as needed to meet departmental goals.

Physical Demands
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 15 pounds waist-high.
