Job Description
The Product Manager, Growth is a data-driven product manager with proven digital experience in driving Acquisition and Retention initiatives. Working under the direction of the Director of Product, this role will be responsible for the execution and optimization of features within business critical flows of our core applications and AB testing platform.
Specifically this includes areas such as purchase flow optimization, marketing technology improvements, and user lifecycle development. You
will act as the organization's subject matter expert and primary owner for the end-to-end performance and configuration of these critical user
journeys. You will help our OTT channels develop and pursue business opportunities that support revenue growth and churn reduction
through internal development, inter-company and 3rd party vendor relationships. This role will be a blend of backend systems, integrations, and frontend UI product ownership where the ability to support internal and external teams will be vital to success.
To accomplish all of these things, this person will generate ideas, test their assumptions and productionalize any winning tests that boost
STARZ acquisition or decrease churn rates, all while working closely with our Marketing, Design, Insight and Analytics, and Product/Engineering teams to plan out and maximize impact of the projects that we run. The role requires a commitment to action-oriented analysis, the ability to take vague requirements and shape them into a detailed project plan and an attitude that anything is possible.
You will have extensive experience with sign up and cancel workflows. You will relentlessly innovate on behalf of internal and external customers, and actively participate in a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration.
Responsibilities
  • Devise, launch, test and optimize sign up, renewal, and retention projects across all STARZ applications
  • Drive the development of tools that improve the efficiencies of Paid Acquisition teams
  • Deliver value add integrations and optimizations to improve our top-line business metrics
  • Surface and enable strategic partners who can help accelerate our growth
  • Execute on an existing roadmap while prioritizing the most impactful features
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and Insights and Analytics to deliver products that deliver value additive experiences that
  • decrease costs and improve revenue [Specifically you will interface with individuals at all levels within the organization, from your peers to top executives]

What Does Success Look Like
In your first 6 months, you will test and ship at least two major sign-up feature, improve a key metric (e.g., acquisition by X%), and build strong
partnerships with 2-3 teams.
Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering/product role preferably in the OTT space
  • Familiarity with analytics and data platforms such as Tableau, Google Analytics, and/or SQL
  • Experience working with teams across organization including engineering, design, and marketing
  • Desired experience with acquisition and retention flows, and working with MarTech solutions
  • Excel at juggling multiple projects, staying organized and prioritizing deadlines
  • Proven ability to set, measure, and iterate on KPIs and secondary metrics
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in AB/multivariate testing with an ability to effectively turn reporting and analysis into insights and
  • strategies
  • Obsessed with positive customer experience and accuracy across all touch points
  • Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
  • Comfortable in a data-driven business environment and able to pivot readily based on real-time data
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
