Overview
Provides direction, leadership and day to day management of educational and departmental activities to include professional support of multiple fellowship programs; and educational coordination between attending physicians, fellows, and institutional and regulatory administrative offices including state licensing board. The coordinator must demonstrate professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness and problem solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow.

Responsibilities
- Assist program directors with administration and coordination of tasks related to ACGME accreditation including educational programming and evaluation.
- Maintain database of all information pertinent to each resident
- Assist the department in centralized processes related to onboarding, licensing, orientation, board review, ITEs, and graduation.
- Participate and contribute to standard work related to trainee management.
- Assist program directors with recruitment of exceptional and diverse trainees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree 1-2 years experience Experience working with highly educated, trained professional staff, preferably in an academic medical center. Experience with professional credentialing processes and contract managements.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.71/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
