Job description

Objective

Participate in our College Graduate in Training (CGIT) program of various assignments over a two-three year time frame.  Provide opportunities to explore different aspects of their professional field to enable them to make informed choices about career growth.

Responsibilities

A typical program includes various assignments to be completed in two-three years.   Each department designs the best way to develop the talent and leadership.  This schedule combined with the individual’s ability to learn and grow may expedite or lengthen the time period in each position.

CGITs’ work with mentors to plan a personal development program that reflects their interests and the company’s needs.  They receive support, coaching and mentoring from their program mentor as well as their immediate supervisors.  Opportunities to explore different aspects of their professional field to make informed choices about their career growth are provided.  Networking with colleagues in the program to develop social and business relationships are encouraged.

The ultimate goal of a CGIT is to become well versed in various business areas and to bring knowledge back to the hired department to become successfully integrated into the team in the future.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in heavy equipment or automotive technology, business or related field.

Successful candidates typically have an outstanding scholastic record and have demonstrated characteristics such as the ability to work well with others, maturity, resourcefulness, integrity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Great written and oral communications skills.
