Job Description

Tokyo Electron is seeking candidates for a unique entry level opportunity for recent college graduate with 0-2 years of experience interested in Sales or Account Management to join Tokyo Electron America's Career Development (Rotation) Program. The recent graduate selected will go through a 12-month rotational career development program based in Austin, Texas to develop a deep understanding of TEL's products, business operations and support departments in preparation for a Product Sales or Account Management position. In the program, candidates will build their knowledge about TEL by spending time in various departments within the company. Within the departments, the candidates will work on projects geared to provide career development and internal growth of Tokyo Electron. The target for the final assignment will be in Phoenix, Arizona on the Product Sales or Account Management Team.

Product Sales:

  • Responsible for selling complex technical products, CIP's, modifications, upgrades, and/or services, service agreements.
  • Typically specializes in a single business unit product or product line.
  • Works with Sales Account Managers to close sales and provide post sales customer support.
  • Responsible for reporting forecast data through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system including booking and revenue management.
  • Assist in the development of workflows and business processes for managing opportunities and ensuring accurate revenue recognition to meet company FY targets.
  • Personal skills that enable development of customer relationships as well as internal and external presentations.
  • Cross functional team engagement to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of support from TEL.
  • Align with TEL factories as needed to secure shipment schedules and communicate gaps as needed to BU team or customer

Account Sales/Management:

  • Responsible for account development, support of the Product Sales Team, overall account commercial activity and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating communications through various business units, factories, product sales teams and customer.
  • Responsible for gathering market trend and competitive landscape information.
  • Supporting executive level customer meetings, agenda alignment with customer, and presentation development
  • Managing and strengthening the customer relationship matrix, customer KPI's / scorecard, and gathering customer VOC (voice of customer).

Requirements:

  • Recent graduates pursuing BS degree.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentations skills
  • Motivated to learn and apply new technologies
  • Flexibility/Willingness to travel including international (5-10%)
  • Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales principals (preferred)
  • Japanese, Korean, and/or Chinese language fluency (benefit)
