Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) - Pediatric Outpatient

Location: Paris, TN
Job Type: Full-Time | Part-Time Considered
Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Clinic
Patient Population: Children ages 0-18
Schedule: Monday-Thursday
Start: Immediate

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join a growing pediatric outpatient therapy clinic serving children from birth through adolescence.

The OT will provide individualized, one-on-one therapy focused on helping children develop greater independence and participate more fully in everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pediatric OT evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals

  • Provide evidence-based interventions

  • Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, and motor-planning needs

  • Support ADLs, self-regulation, executive functioning, play, and social participation

  • Address developmental delays, coordination, strength, and postural control

  • Provide feeding/oral-motor interventions as appropriate

  • Educate parents and caregivers and provide home programs

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with other therapists, physicians, educators, and care professionals

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

  • Current Tennessee OT license or eligibility for licensure

  • Current NBCOT certification

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. New graduate OTs are welcome to apply.

Compensation

Starting rate for a new graduate: $40 per billable hour

The practice uses a billable-hour compensation model, rather than a traditional hourly-pay structure.

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday-Thursday

  • Approximately 7:30/7:45 AM-5:00/5:30 PM

  • Lunch: 12:00 PM-1:00 PM

  • No weekends

  • No nights

  • No on-call

  • One-on-one patient care

Please note: Employer-sponsored health insurance is not currently available. Candidates must have their own health insurance coverage.
