The Men’s and Women’s Coach is responsible for providing leadership, organization and administration of the Men’s and Women’s program

Position Summary:
The University of Mount Saint Vincent, a member of NCAA Division III and the Skyline Conference, invites applications for a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Basketball program. This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in coaching and collegiate athletics administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program
  • Support practice organization, player development, and game strategy
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including outreach and visit planning
  • Manage video editing, scouting reports, and opponent analysis
  • Assist with game day operations and team logistics
  • Support student-athlete academic success and retention efforts
  • Complete additional administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Acceptance into, or plans to apply to, a graduate program at the University of Mount Saint Vincent (Business or Education)
  • Previous playing or coaching experience in basketball preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches, support staff, campus community, and alumni
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of NCAA Division III guidelines preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid Driver’s License
