Graduate 2D Animation Rigging information
What is the difference between Graduate 2D Animation Rigging vs Graduate 3D Animation Rigging?
| Aspect | Graduate 2D Animation Rigging | Graduate 3D Animation Rigging |
|---|---|---|
| Required Skills | 2D software (Toon Boom, Adobe Animate), rigging techniques | 3D software (Maya, Blender), skeletal rigging |
| Work Environment | 2D animation studios, post-production houses | 3D animation studios, gaming, film |
| Industry Usage | TV cartoons, web animations | Video games, movies, VR |
Graduate 2D Animation Rigging focuses on creating rigs for 2D characters using specialized software, often in traditional animation settings. In contrast, Graduate 3D Animation Rigging involves building skeletal structures for 3D models, typically in gaming and film industries. Both roles require knowledge of rigging principles, but they differ in software and output type, making them distinct career paths within animation.
