Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Operator to join our Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, scrapers, rollers, and articulated dump trucks
  • Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material placement according to project plans and specifications
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and survey markings
  • Work closely with foremen, laborers, and other operators to coordinate work activities
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance and cleaning
  • Follow all OSHA, MSHA (if applicable), and company safety policies
  • Maintain proper trench safety and awareness around underground utilities
  • Assist with site housekeeping and general construction tasks as needed

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment on heavy civil or transportation projects
  • Proven experience with mass earthwork, utilities, or roadway construction
  • Ability to work from plans, grades, and elevations
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if required
