(Full Time, M-F, some Saturdays as needed, $22-$25/hour DOE)

Position Summary: We are hiring a dedicated Laborer to assist with water and sewer installation, backfilling, and fine grading for residential construction projects. This role requires someone who is physically fit, motivated, and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Previous experience in excavation, water/sewer installation, or grading is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems for residential developments.
  • Aid in the backfilling and compaction of trenches and other excavated areas.
  • Help with fine grading and leveling for final site preparation.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment as directed (shovels, compactors, etc.).
  • Work under the supervision of foremen and experienced laborers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials, including pipes, fittings, and construction equipment.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in excavation, water/sewer installation, or grading is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in varying weather conditions.
