Job description

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in land development or civil construction and be capable of assisting with day-to-day field operations, project coordination, reporting, and communication with project management staff, contractors, consultants, and ownership teams.

This role requires someone who is dependable, organized, computer literate, and willing to work full time with the possibility of some weekends as needed based on project activity. The ability to perform well under pressure and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment is extremely important.


Preferred Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in land development, civil construction, or related field preferred
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects is a plus
  • Understanding of site development processes, utilities, grading, erosion control, pipe work, and related construction activities


Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily site supervision and coordination of development projects
  • Attend meetings alongside project management and development staff
  • Review and interpret construction plans and development documents
  • Field verify quantities and progress of work
  • Take and organize site photographs for reporting purposes
  • Prepare and submit daily reports using company systems and software
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors
  • Monitor schedules and help identify potential project delays or issues
  • Assist with miscellaneous company tasks and smaller projects, including HOA-related items when needed
  • Support other operational and administrative aspects of the company as required

  • Ability to inspect and recognize NPDES requirements and deficiencies
