Job description

A leading EDM machine manufacturer is looking for a CNC Field Service Engineer.
Install, service and perform basic training on all our machinery. Needs to troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical problems that can occur on site by using proper basic testing equipment (i.e. multimeter or oscilloscope). Travel by car or airplane to both customer and dealer
facilities.
On-site intake of customer complaints regarding equipment malfunction and service issues, and communication with customer and internal management regarding the technical analysis and determination.
Document all work done in a legible and technically sound manner.
Submit both service and expense reports for reimbursement.
Good at Electrical Engineering Or any industrial electronic repair experience..
Can be new Grad (will train).
Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)'s repair experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of CAD / CAM system, materials, tooling, and end mills, if possible.
Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain integrity and ethics in all conversations and actions with customers.
Self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and to calmly handle stressful situations when customers complain of equipment malfunctions.
Possess technical curiosity and ability to diagnose and solve production issues. Detail-oriented and able to get work completed in a manufacturing environment.
Daily allowance for travel - $46 if travel is more than 100miles one way.
Gas allowance.
