Dozer Operator – Move Dirt with Precision for Blade Construction


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will play a pivotal role in executing critical shoreline infrastructure, dredging, and earthwork projects across the Gulf Coast. Operating top-tier, GPS-equipped heavy machinery, you will directly shape project outcomes while ensuring maximum accuracy and jobsite efficiency. This role offers stable, long-term employment and clear pathways to field leadership within a dynamic marine and heavy civil construction team.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Operate a GPS-equipped Komatsu D71 dozer to execute earthwork according to project plans and site specifications.
  • Achieve precise finish and rough grading to maintain required grades, slopes, and elevations.
  • Conduct rigorous daily equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs and maintain peak operational safety.
  • Collaborate with field supervisors and site personnel to keep project milestones on schedule.
  • Step up as a field leader by guiding crew members when operational demands require.
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness in active, fast-paced civil construction environments.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven professional experience operating dozers within a construction environment.
  • Hands-on experience operating a Komatsu D71 dozer equipped with GPS technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of grading, elevations, slopes, and earthwork techniques.
  • Ability to reliably commit to working an average of 50+ hours per week.
  • Unwavering commitment to jobsite safety procedures and surrounding crew awareness.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Background in assisting or leading field crews on job sites.
  • Advanced finish-grading skills on large-scale civil earthwork projects.
