Job description

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Fleet Manager to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, fleet, and inventory functions to ensure materials, vehicles, and equipment are properly maintained, tracked, and available to support field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all shipping, receiving, staging, and delivery of materials to support field operations.

· Ensure warehouse safety, security, cleanliness, and proper storage of materials and records.

· Manage inventory, including tracking incoming/outgoing materials, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating annual inventory counts.

· Oversee company fleet vehicles, assigned drivers, vehicle records, inspections, maintenance, and operational readiness.

· Coordinate vehicle replacements, equipment installations, repairs, and fleet-related requests.

· Manage PPE and field-worker apparel purchasing and distribution.

· Coordinate disposal, transfer, and retention of administrative records in accordance with company procedures.

· Support company events and other administrative and operational needs as assigned.

Warehouse Responsibilities

· Oversee shipping and receiving material for each Dept.

· Check-in packages via DPO, document on tracker, organize on shelf per Dept.

· Stage, load, and sign-out material for technicians

· Deliver material to job sites - upon manager request

· Label packing slips, deliver copies to admin, digital copies to managers - daily

· Collect used fire extinguishers - daily, coordinate transfer out - quarterly

· Archive admin records, destroy as per our “File Retention” program - annually

· Interior and exterior safety and security, to include after hours

· Overall cleanliness, and seasonal climate control

Fleet Responsibilities

· Oversee fleet vehicles, assigned drivers, and maintain vehicle info spreadsheet

· Submit “new vehicle requests”, and high mileage vehicle “disposal requests”

· Coordinate AME to include camper tops, ladder racks, vehicle wraps, etc.

· Complete vehicle inspection reports, enter data in online program

· Coordinate accident quotes and repairs

· Install & troubleshoot AZUGA cameras and GPS monitoring devices

· Maintain vehicle records, maintenance cards, insurance cards, keys and spare keys

· Submit fuel card requests

· Keep “unassigned” vehicles empty, clean, and operationally ready

Requirements

Must be able to lift 80 lbs.

Familiar with commercial construction sites and must be a safety-oriented individual.

Must pass drug test and background check.

Clean driving record.

Current driver’s license.

Forklift Operator - triennial

First Aid/CPR - annual
