GPS MODEL TECHNICIAN


GPS Model Technicians are responsible for collecting information from various sources in order to create GPS models of earthworks and heavy civil construction projects. A strong candidate can effectively communicate both by email and in-person conversations in order to gain an understanding of the specific project needs and client requirements. They will possess a high attention to detail while being flexible and adaptive to changes on site. Construction is a fluid industry and the ability to roll with the changes is vital. You’ll be working out of our Scottsdale office, alongside other experienced professionals and be responsible for completing assignments based on a weekly schedule.


PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS


We use various software programs to complete this work - experience in the following is helpful, but not a requirement:

  • Earthwork 3D/4D
  • Trimble Business Center
  • Office 3D
  • Excel
  • Candidates with field experience, especially those who have worked with GPS rover systems, are encouraged to apply. Having built projects in the field will help you visualize the model you’re creating.
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of plan reading and be able to comprehend project specifications.
  • AutoCAD
