DCS is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support full‑lifecycle engineering activities for airborne and ground TSPI instrumentation. The role includes producing technical documentation, supporting system integration and testing, and maintaining continuous operational readiness. Candidates must demonstrate extensive hands‑on expertise with TSPI systems, strong engineering discipline, and effective collaboration with project leadership and technical teams.Contingent on Contract Award.

Essential Job Functions

Produce rigorous technical documentation, ECPs, and training materials while collaborating with the Program Manager to ensure continuous range operational readiness.

Demonstrable experience and working knowledge of GPS-BRIE and CRIIS systems including system architecture, data flow, integration, and testing. Similar experience with other Time, Space and Position Information (TSPI) systems may be considered.

Use of test equipment relevant to GPS-BRIE and CRIIS systems, including but not limited to spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes as well as performing environmental stress screenings.

Create and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, technical manuals, test procedures, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Technical Data Packages (TDPs).

Provide engineering support for all phases of the GPS-BRIE and CRIIS lifecycle, including design, re‑engineering, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment. This includes experience with analyzing foreign threat intelligence data, obsolescence management, corrective action report generation, and implementing engineering changes to maintain system operational readiness.

Work closely with the PM and other team members to ensure the successful execution of all GPS-BRIE and CRIIS related tasks.

Analyze and generate design, reengineering, upgrade, testing, production, and integration documentation pertaining to GPS-BRIE instrumentation.

Job Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer requirements.

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12+ years years of full‑lifecycle engineering experience managing GPS-BRIE and CRIIS airborne and ground instrumentation, from architecture design and hands‑on troubleshooting to fielding and obsolescence mitigation.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.

The candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering support of T&T range GPS-BRIE and CRIIS airborne and ground instrumentation, with a focus on practical application, troubleshooting sustainment, technology obsolescence and technology insertion.

Must have experience in the creation and updating of technical documentation within a structured documentation management system, preferably one with web-accessible functionality (e.g., a SharePoint-based system).

Must have experience in providing technical input to the development of user and maintenance training materials, including the creation of hands‑on exercises, simulations, and troubleshooting guides.
