Job description

Job Title: Full Stack Programmer Analyst
Clearance Required: Public Trust
Work location: Hybrid - Miami FL
AOI is looking for a Programmer Analyst to develop and maintain full-stack software applications developed in a low-code Oracle environment. The work includes eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing and implementing efficient and effective solutions using the APEX tool suite. Troubleshooting, maintaining and modernizing existing applications. Communicating effectively with AOI and client's project leadership and other staff. The ideal candidate shall have proven track record in full-stack application. Must be proficient in SQL back ends. This individual will be required to work closely with AOI, its client's and/or any third-party staff, including subject matter and technical experts, project managers, etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrable proficiency with:

    • SQL
    • JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, CSS,
    • SOAP based Web Services

  • Support the development and application of best-practices, program standards and conventions
  • Ability to analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality and maintainability
  • Familiarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to support all phases of the SDLC including O&M support and disposition
  • Enthusiasm, positive attitude, superb work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of projects as a team player are necessary
  • This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time-management skills
  • Successful candidate must clear a background screen

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience

Experience/Skills:
  • 0-1 years of direct experience in application development
  • Prior production support and software O&M experience
  • Version control systems (SVN, Git)

Preferred Skills:
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications
  • Agile development / DevSecOps
  • Prior experience working in a government setting
  • US work-authorization

Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $50,000 - $51,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
