Required Skills:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree (4 year) with 4 years' experience as a COBOL Developer/Programmer

OR

  • Associates degree (2 year) with 6 years' experience as a COBOL Developer/Programmer

OR

  • 8 years' experience as a COBOL Developer/Programmer.

One (1) engagement lasting 18 months or more in a COBOL Developer/Programmer role.

Desired Skills:

  • Computer Science or Information Technology degree
  • Experience in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with analytical skills and creating program specifications /requirements
  • Experience in health insurance programs and/or a state Medicaid Management Information System Experience with:

CICS

VSAM

DB2

SQL

Debugging Tool (InterTest or Xpediter debugging tools)

Panvalet

  • Experience with COBOL code analyzer software or projects which extracted business logic from mainframe COBOL systems
