SALARY RANGE:  $58,000-$64,000

 

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for terminal operations including product unloading, product transfer, storage and product loading.  In addition, assist in day-to-day operations of the whole Vandalia Crops location.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for equipment operations, product handling, and product receipt and transfer.
  • Receives incoming freight assuring product quality and accuracy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the required shipping/receiving documentation is accurate.
  • Provides any inventory requirements for all consigned products stored at the terminal.
  • Unloads materials and ensures storage in appropriate location.
  • Loads outgoing freight protecting product quality and accuracy.
  • Ensures that proper invoices are supplied and accurate.
  • Coordinates loading and blending activities with other SCFS locations.
  • Provides quality customer service.
  • Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment and areas in accordance with company standards.
  • Keeps facility neat, clean, and organized.

 

Other Job Functions:

  • Follows South Central's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Must obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in training relating to the requirements of the position.
