The Senior Program Manager- Aerospace Aftermarket Support/Repairs will have responsibility of the Repairs & Services groups at the Vandalia, OH site. This role will have oversight of both Commercial and Government programs.
This role entails complex aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace's priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). This role involves managing cross-functional teams, driving program execution, and delivering results that meet customer and organizational expectations.
At GE Aerospace in Vandalia, we specialize in manufacturing and servicing world-class power generation and electrical control and distribution equipment for a variety of aerospace customers. Vandalia is also home to a product development lab where operators and engineers work together to invent the future of flight.Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead and manage aerospace programs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to SQDC principles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed program plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure program success.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track program progress, report on key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply lean principles to optimize program processes and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of related experience)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or contracts management

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
