The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world.
Job Summary
Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as an Program Financial Analyst. This role works closely with our program leaders to understand and analyze program bookings, revenue, operating profit, investements, and cash flow data.
This position can be hybrid - in office 2 days per week and work from home the other days.
What You Will Do
  • Effectively influence decisions through strong stakeholder engagement and providing timely, accurate financial deliverables
  • Manage program financial performance by identifying key drivers, providing clear insights, trend analysis, and recommendations for EAC development, revenue, cash and working capital.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers
  • Support negotiations with the government, industry prime contractors, and foreign customers
  • Conduct analytical studies, monitor trends, and interpret the results
  • Support proposal preparations including: bid/no-bid requirements; cost estimating; pricing; RFP review; risk mitigation; and negotiation

In this role, it is expected that you will develop and soon demonstrate an understanding of a variety of Program & Finance activities includign Basis of Estimate (BOE) preparation; budget preparation, reporting and management; cost & variance analysis; Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS); Estimate at Completion (EAC); cash management/working capital; forecasting; contractual reporting (CDRL, EVM, cost and pricing, C/SSR); risk management; return on investment (ROI); audit preparation and management; and program review preparation.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and at least three years of progressive experience in a government manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, CAS & SOX
  • Understand financial analysis principles and have financial analysis skills
  • Ability to grasp generally accepted accounting principles and develop a working knowledge of the cost accounting standards (CAS) and IFRS
  • Working knowledge of IR&D/B&P/Direct Sell and allowable vs. unallowable costs
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite , MS Project, Visio, Oracle, Pro Pricer)

U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
