What you'll do

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytically strong Transformation Program Analyst to support our engineering organization in delivering initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, and organizational value. In this high-visibility role, you will provide the analytical and coordination support that helps leaders make data-driven decisions, maintain clear initiative tracking, and keep execution aligned to priorities. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with senior leaders, gain cross-functional exposure, and develop your skills in a fast-paced transformation environment.

As the Transformation Program Analyst, you will support tactical execution and reporting across a portfolio of initiatives. You will run and maintain program reports, prepare concise leadership materials, track action items and achievement progress, and help ensure data quality across planning and status artifacts.   You will also support initiative leads with estimate inputs, assumptions, and documentation for decision reviews, while providing ad-hoc analysis to help teams resolve blockers and move work forward.


The day-to-day
Initiative Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Support engineering leaders in developing and accomplishing initiatives that improve workflows and delivery consistency.  
  • Help break down leadership goals into work plans, achievements, and action items under mentorship.  
  • Track initiative progress against defined achievements and provide timely status updates to leadership.  
  • Advance potential blockers to engineering leaders and help coordinate solutions.  
  • Document and maintain initiative context, decisions, and progress artifacts.

Data-Driven Metrics and Visibility

  • Collect and organize data on engineering productivity and efficiency metrics under leader guidance.
  • Help maintain and update dashboards and tracking tools.
  • Support gathering baseline data for initiatives and improvement efforts.
  • Translate business questions into metrics and measurable outcomes.

Productivity and Process Improvement

  • Assist in finding opportunities to streamline engineering workflows and reduce friction across teams.  
  • Support functional leaders in designing and piloting process improvements.
  • Help document current workflows and process gaps for leadership review.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, program management, and partner teams under leadership direction.
  • Support coordination between teams and maintain clear information flow on assignments and progress.

What you'll need
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, business analysis, or related roles, OR demonstrable potential with foundational skills in a technical or operational domain.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail: ability to track tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical collaborators.  
  • Comfortable learning new tools and processes; able to pick up context quickly and ask clarifying questions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take on structured ownership within well-defined scope.
  • This is Viasat Government role; US citizenship is required.
    This will be an onsite role based in Duluth, GA

What will help you on the job
  • Experience working in or supporting engineering, operations, or technical teams.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • Experience with basic data analysis, dashboard tools, or metric tracking.
  • Exposure to agile or structured execution methodologies.
  • Background in supporting cross-functional teams.

Salary range
$72,500.00 - $114,500.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $90,000.00- $135,000.00/ annually
