Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Program Analyst perform complex analytical activities to support the mission of the Division. The Program Analyst will provide policy expertise and support to one or more of the Housing and Homelessness Division programs. These housing and homelessness mitigation programs are integrated social service programs such as cash and food assistance, disability benefits, and protective and supportive services. The responsibilities of the Program Analyst also include administrative duties and other internal Division support. The Program Analyst will apply skills and expertise to policy development, program implementation, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, and will work closely and cooperatively with others and in teams.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies. For positions advertised in more than one location, headquarter location may be designated on the selected candidate's primary residence location, and/or the closest CDSS location in accordance with operational need and available space. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Describe your interest in working for the Housing and Homelessness Division, and how your work experience, education, and skills qualify you for the position as it relates to the duties outlined in the Duty Statement.
