Route: Holloman AFB, NM to Fort Bliss / El Paso, TX
Job Type: Part-Time / Daily Route
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a dependable Medical Courier to transport laboratory specimens between the Holloman Medical Group at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, and William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.

The Medical Courier will be responsible for completing one scheduled daily route while maintaining the security, accountability, and proper handling of laboratory specimens and associated medical materials.

Schedule
  • Monday-Thursday: Pickup between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM Mountain Time

  • Friday: Pickup between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM Mountain Time

  • Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays and designated Government down days

  • Approximately 85 miles each way between Holloman AFB and William Beaumont Army Medical Center

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up laboratory specimens from the Holloman Medical Group.

  • Transport specimens safely to William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

  • Maintain accountability and security of specimens throughout transportation.

  • Ensure specimens and accompanying medical documentation are protected from unauthorized disclosure.

  • Complete required pickup and delivery log information.

  • Maintain vehicle security while transporting medical materials.

  • Follow all applicable traffic regulations and military installation requirements.

  • Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).

  • Comply with HIPAA and Privacy Act requirements.

  • Immediately report transportation, delivery, vehicle, or access issues to management.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Holloman Air Force Base and Fort Bliss.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

  • Must have reliable transportation suitable for completing the daily approximately 170-mile round trip.

  • Must be dependable and capable of meeting strict pickup and delivery schedules.

  • Must maintain a professional and neat appearance.

  • Must be able to properly safeguard confidential medical information and laboratory specimens.

  • Must comply with HIPAA, Privacy Act, installation security, and traffic requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, medical courier, or transportation driver.

  • Experience working on military installations or other Federal Government facilities.

  • Familiarity with transporting medical specimens, laboratory materials, or sensitive documentation.
