Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic!

Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a new opportunity to showcase your talent and expertise? Capitol Tower & Communications, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Waverly, NE. As a Diesel Mechanic with us, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, generators, and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and their associated components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel-powered equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel engines.
  • Perform in depth mechanical repairs with a focus on Ford Power Stroke light duty trucks.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel engines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You have your own set of tools and equipment needed for the position.
Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly wage depending on experience. ($24-$28 starting)
  • Reviews and raises starting at 45, 90, 180 and 365 days.
