Position Summary:
We are looking for an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier serve as the face of the company. If you are a professional driver who enjoys interacting with customers and providing service levels that maintain happy and loyal customers, this could be the job for you. Our Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and places value not only on what work gets done, but also how it gets done.
Major responsibilities are as follows:
  • Represents Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
  • Maintains positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, co-workers, and management whether in person, by phone, in writing, and/or through computerized and other electronic means.
  • Safely operates vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
  • Collects, transports, and delivers currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
  • Load and unload ATM machines.
  • Uses handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
  • Ensures the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
  • Maintains communications with designated company representatives. Reports delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner.
  • Completes documentation and updates into handheld electronic devices.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
  • Maintains the vehicle, equipment, and the facility in clean and operational readiness condition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • One plus years of experience preferred within a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.
  • Working knowledge of navigations tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps is essential.
  • Must be able to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and hand-held devices.
  • Can be counted on to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity is of utmost important.
