What we're looking for...
  • Entry Writer with 1-3 years of entry writing experience
  • Knowledge of participating government agencies reporting on an entry (ex. FDA).
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
  • Cargowise experience is a plus.

About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all entry packets are properly annotated by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record.
  • Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department.
  • Develops and maintains customer profiles based on customer's entry history.
  • Coordinates with customers to gather information for entry processing.
  • Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally.

Work Schedule
Miami Office 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office.
Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of entry writing experience.
  • Customs Brokerage License and/or CCS Certification preferred.

Salary
$50,000-$60,000 annually based on education and experience level.
