Job Title : Sr Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA, Remote
Duration : 6 to 12 Months Contract to Hire
The client is not willing to sponsor; we need visa independent candidates who can work for any employer, like USC & GC.
This is a remote role with a work location based in Atlanta, GA. 5% travel required. The client will take care of Expenses.
Top 5 Must-Haves:
  1. 5+ years of direct experience with analytics, automated reporting, data exploration; SQL and Python are required.
  2. Be proficient in using SQL to extract/transform data from various systems and in performing analysis on large datasets.
  3. 4+ years of experience with visualization software (Power BI or Tableau)
  4. Be highly analytical with a proven ability to turn data into compelling, real-world insights.
  5. Must be comfortable presenting to large audiences and senior business leaders.

The Business Intelligence Analyst II will be a part of the Sales Business Insights team within the Sales Business Office (SBO) and contribute to the quantitative analysis of the Sales organization's key challenges and opportunities. They will lead backend improvements to the company's data pipelines and data visualizations, supporting all sales segments across Cox Automotive. This role will support hundreds of front-line sellers and leaders with consumable analytics to help them drive growth and retain customers. As an analytics SME, the BI Analyst II will use data to support new business initiatives, sales performance analysis, hypothesis development & testing, and data modeling to support insightful solutions. The BI Analyst II will also regularly interact with & communicate findings/recommendations/results to senior business leaders and present to large audiences.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage analytical processes, build new datasets, and validate/improve existing data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.
  • Support and lead ad hoc data inquiries, analyze data & identify trends, draw conclusions, and present insights that tell compelling stories.
  • Be an integral part of building & maintaining our one-stop Sales and Performance Management reporting platform in Power BI.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to build visualizations & reporting that drives performance optimization and revenue growth.
  • Translate moderate to complex data into consumable and relevant insights for non-analytic internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with other analytics teams across the org to ensure that standards are being met and sources of truth are followed.
  • Release tools in Power BI and Tableau that can have hundreds of users & participate in trainings and demos for these tools.
  • Compile success stories and positive end-user feedback from existing tools to quantify the impact that these BI tools provide for the business.
  • Work with data governance to document and manage access to the team's data library
