The Application Consultant is an integral member of the Application Team, functioning as the primary point of contact for all applicants. The Application Consultant is accountable for application management, reviewing and validating customer identification (if applicable), reviewing and validating income, reviewing credit screenings, and providing exceptional customer service to applicants, residents, and colleagues. The Application Consultant reports to the Application Manager.
The days off for this opening is Monday, Tuesday and the hours are 9AM-6PM.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Work in a centralized sales hub and facilitates full cycle application review, approval/denial, and income/identity verification (if applicable).
  • Verification of Government issued photo ID's.
  • Ensure all applications are reviewed daily and applicants are notified of receipt of application and approval status of application.
  • Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Work closely with internal partners to ensure an increase in NPS and customer survey ratings as it pertains to the application and move in process.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Funnel lead management and the application process per company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1 to 2 years administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of the Microsoft suite, familiarity with CRM systems and practices.

WHAT THE JOB REQUIRES:
  • This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. All duties are performed on site in the office to support daily in-person collaboration, team huddles, and spontaneous meetings. Requires sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods and using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
  • This role requires a five-day workweek that includes both Saturday and Sunday, with days off scheduled during the week.
  • This role does not require any travel; work is primarily conducted at the office.
