Terms of Employment:  Full-time, 12-month
Reports to: IT Manager

Job Summary: Odyssey Charter School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and culturally responsive Under the direct supervision of the IT Manager, provides first-level technical and administrative support to the school's Information Technology Department. Serves as the first point of contact for staff, students, and families seeking technology assistance by responding to help desk requests, resolving routine technical issues, and escalating more complex problems to appropriate IT personnel. Assists with technology deployments, equipment inventory, documentation, office operations, and customer service to support the effective delivery of technology services throughout the school.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of customer service, administrative support, technology support, or related experience preferred.
  • Related education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and common computer hardware.
  • Ability to learn new software applications and technology systems.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in English Language, both written and spoken.
  • A global citizenship and collaborative mindset
  • Experience working in a multicultural/multilingual environment


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Manager by providing feedback on hardware, software, and technology needs as requested.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technology, software, and equipment.
  • Set up, configure, deploy, and perform basic troubleshooting of computers, Chromebooks, printers, and other technology devices.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of school technology, software applications, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Inform the IT Manager of recurring technology issues, trends, or concerns that may affect school operations
  • Respond to, document, prioritize, and resolve Tier 1 IT help desk requests for staff,
  • students, and families. Resolve routine issues whenever possible, escalate more complex problems to appropriate IT personnel, communicate status updates to users, and ensure tickets are documented and closed in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
