Job description

Founded in 2013, SSGOPS has been recruiting in the Hi-Tech industry for over a decade. Their Founder has placed several hundred hi-tech folks during this time, at giants like Amazon.


In 2022, SSGOPS relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area, California to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Their Founder is now looking to rebuild his successful operation with a new team here in Iowa. Want to be part of it?


Position: Seeking Entry Level Recruiter or Customer Support Rep/Admin, to work from our office 9am-4pm (20 hrs/wk part-time initially).


Must have

- Must have good written and verbal communication skills

- Comfortable calling and emailing candidates

- Preferred: Proficiency using a Google Chromebook (we use Google Voice), WPM: 50+

- Desire to do well at work

- Customer service with follow-up skills


Duties: Regular meetings with Owner. Chromebook provided with Google Voice, your main goal will be speaking and following up with candidates, and submitting your feedback to the Owner. You may be using online provided tools to find & review resumes of candidates regarding job opportunities that they may be interested in. This job entails sending out emails/texts, reviewing resumes, cold calling & pre-screening selected candidates, and submitting the best candidates forward to the Owner.


The Owner will teach you the ropes, in how to screen out candidates and how to be a good Recruiter for SSGOPS. Your time will predominantly be spent sending out emails, texting, and phone calls with candidates and syncing up with the Founder to review daily updates, discussion topics and next steps.


The three main qualities needed: (i) proficiency using Chromebooks as we use gmail and google apps (ii) good verbal & written communication skills with desire to do well at work (iii) good customer service and follow up experience ...if you have all three of these, you are a good candidate.

Benefits/Perks:

Pay: $16-20/hr, working 15-25 hrs/wk
