Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.) and SQL databases.
  • Experience with system design or reading code in Java, C , or Python.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform products (e.g., SA360, DV360, GA4), or Google Cloud services.
  • Expertise in one of the three core product pillars: Search , YouTube , or Measurement and Platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

As a Product Deployment Engineer, you will be a key advisor to Google's customers and serve as the definitive regional service authority for a specific product area. You are the bridge between "what a customer wants" and "what gTech Ads has to offer" within a specific product area, whether via the standing Menu of Service (MoS) or our gTech Ads engineering capabilities.
You will require customer engagement skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable product strategies. You will develop high quality technical-product specifications that address complex business issues.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure, first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
  • Lead technical assessment/consultation sessions to uncover opportunities where bespoke solutions are required, ensuring solutions respect industry-specific data constraints and business-cycles.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
  • Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while delegating base code-level and system-building decisions to the Engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional gTech teams (e.g., Engineering teams, Solution Experts, Measurement Experts) to orchestrate bundled service delivery and ensure seamless customer outcomes.
