  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Golang or Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 5 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

  • 5 years of experience building and managing distributed software systems and infrastructure.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • 5 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

  • Experience in designing and building distributed systems, and ability to adapt to diagnosing network issues using debugging tools (e.g., PCAP analysis).

  • Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

  • Knowledge of Google technologies and infrastructure including networking, security, corporate systems and infrastructure, system administration and operations, and the software development lifecycle.
