Job description

  • Review, interpret, and set up complex court orders, child support orders, tax levies, and creditor claims in the payroll system
  • Oversee and remit payments accurately and timely to courts, agencies, and creditors
  • Ensure calculations and processes comply with federal, state, and local withholding limits and timelines
  • Lead audits of garnishment records
  • Answer complex inquiries and provide customer support to employees, courts, legal teams, and government agencies
  • Communicate with HR and Accounting teams
  • Investigate complex calculation errors and resolve automation failures
  • Approve and submit garnishment refunds for processing
  • Adjust future deductions
  • Provide guidance to junior team members
Requirements
  • 5+ years working in payroll or specialized garnishment processing
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Workday, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Sheets
