What You Will Doย 

  • Build AI assistants and agents end-to-end from a signed-off spec,ย retrieval, tool integrations, prompt logic, source citation, and workflow integrationย 
  • Design andย maintainย retrieval pipelines,ย chunking strategy, metadata schema, indexing, access controls, and query optimizationย 
  • Engineer prompts with discipline,ย write, test, evaluate, andย iterate;ย document failure modes and edge casesย 
  • Own code quality and handoff,ย version artifacts, write tests whereย appropriate, andย maintainย clean, reviewable documentationย 
  • Partner with Data Engineering to make data retrieval-ready,ย define ingestion needs, document assumptions, andย validateย data quality impactsย 
  • Deploy through standardย MLOpsย pipelines,ย monitoring/alerting, rollback readiness, cost controls, and operational runbooksย 
  • Collaborate with affiliate teams during builds,ย demo real increments, capture feedback, and incorporate changes without breaking scopeย 
  • Document known limitations, risks, and mitigations before UAT,ย setย expectationsย and prevent surprises for business stakeholdersย 

What You Will Bringย 

  • Strong Python skills with experience shipping LLM applications end-to-end (build, test, deploy, andย operate)ย 
  • Hands-on RAG experience,ย document processing, vector databases/search, and retrieval evaluation (precision/recall, grounding quality)ย 
  • Experience with agent frameworks (e.g.,ย LangChain,ย LlamaIndexย or equivalents), including tool use, orchestration, and multi-step flowsย 
  • Experience on enterprise AI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Anthropic APIs), including security and cost/performance trade-offsย 
  • Prompt engineering fundamentals,ย structured prompting, output constraints, adversarial/failure-mode testing, and reproducibilityย 
  • Comfort working with semi-structured/unstructured data (PDFs, financial docs, emails, notes) and translating it into retrieval-ready assetsย 
  • Delivery mindset and strong written communication,ย hold scope, write clear technical documentation, and finish to production-qualityย
