Job description

Description
Paid Digital Media & Digital Marketing Manager
About the Role
We're on the hunt for a Paid Digital Media/Digital Marketing Manager - someone who lives for optimization, thrives on ROAS, and geeks out on challenging the how and why behind the things we're doing.
As our Paid Digital Media/Digital Marketing Manager, you'll lead the strategy and execution for paid digital media across both Dr. Tavel and Alternate View (Google, Meta, programmatic display, OTT, and streaming audio). You know the platforms. You understand the audiences. You've tested, scaled, and squeezed every last drop out of a media budget - and you're always ready to do it better.
But this role goes beyond paid media. You'll also own the strategy for connecting our data across the entire customer journey - building the digital marketing infrastructure that ties paid media, our website, and patient communications together into one coherent picture. You'll turn what that data tells us into action: sharper campaigns, a better website experience, and smarter, more personalized patient communication.
What You'll Own
• Google Ads & Meta Ads: Launch, manage, and optimize paid search, display, and social campaigns like the seasoned pro you are.
• Audience Strategy: Build custom segments, retargeting flows, lookalikes, and cross-platform funnels that convert.
• Digital Marketing Infrastructure & Journey Analytics: Implement & maintain the tracking, tagging, and attribution infrastructure that connects data across paid media, our website, and patient communications - giving us one clear view of the full customer journey, not just channel-by-channel snapshots.
• Tracking & Analytics: Monitor KPIs, build dashboards, and give us the honest truth about what's working (and what needs to go) - end to end, not just top of funnel.
• Web Optimization: Partner with our web/dev team to turn journey insights into action on-site - landing pages, conversion paths, and personalization that convert visitors into patients.
• Patient Communication Journeys: Develop the strategy for, and collaborate on execution of, data-driven patient email/text/loyalty communication journeys informed by where each patient is in their journey.
• Budget Management: Own paid media budgets; maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and prove ROI. Current spend ~$300,000 annually.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with creative teams to ensure campaigns cut through and succeed.
• Compliance: Ensure HIPAA-compliant conversion tracking and stay current on best practices and legal implications for HIPAA-compliant digital advertising.
Who You Are
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic platforms (like StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, etc.)
• Experience building analytics, tracking, and attribution models that connect data across the full customer journey - media, web, and communications - not just platform-level reporting
• Experience designing patient/customer communication journeys (email, SMS, loyalty) driven by behavioral and journey data. Experience with Customer.io is a plus.
• Experience optimizing web properties - conversion rate optimization, personalization, or partnering with UX/dev teams on data-informed website improvements
• Obsessively analytical. You love data, testing, iterating, and scaling
• Fluent in CPMs, CTRs, CPCs, CVRs, and ROAS - and you know how to explain them to non-marketers
• Naturally curious and always learning what's next in the digital marketing and technology landscapes
• Have an opinion on topics like PMax, generative AI in search, and murky programmatic inventory
• Bonus: You've worked with multi-location, healthcare, retail, or regulated industries
• Bigger bonus: You've built performance media campaigns that captured attention AND sparked growth
Why You'll Love This Role
• Autonomy and ownership of paid digital media strategy - and a real hand in shaping the connected marketing infrastructure behind it
• An organization that values experimentation and measurable results
• Access to tools, budget, and smart people who want you to succeed
• A brand that's ready to challenge the category (and needs your help to fuel it)
• The chance to say, "Yeah, I built that. And it crushed."
Ready to launch campaigns that make an impact, connect the dots across the patient journey, and impress your inner digital media nerd?
