Responsibilities Responsible for test design for a network solution incorporating virtualization, network management tools, and hardware components Responsible for technical review of features for feasibility and design Effectively communicates or reinforces messages consistent with management direction Serves as a technical partner/consultant to managers Analyzes metrics for quality trends before and after releases Advocates test planning that includes appropriate performance assessment to ensure/improve product scalability Reviews unit and acceptance tests and makes recommendations for improvement Reviews project plans and schedules for technical dependencies, risk areas, etc. Assists in scoping optimization exercises. Develops master test plan + strategy for complex projects Researches and proposes solutions to improve test quality Drives development efforts toward incorporating testability into product Anticipates roadblocks and shortcomings and solves them proactively Provides authoritative technical leadership within a program Responsible for driving solution/end-to-end test efforts Develops tools or processes to increase productivity Provides guidance to contributors of all technical roles and levels Applies knowledge of customer perspective to improve product quality Designs complex test environments that can accommodate both QA test needs and customer use case testing Provides technical leadership for system level tests ( eg.
