Job description

WHO WE ARE

TWENTY2 is a high-end private label wallpaper and textile production company. We help artists and designers bring innovative wallpaper and textile collections and custom projects to life. We're known for our expertise, creativity, high level of customer service, exacting quality standards, and on-time delivery.

We're seeking a hands-on IT Manager who is ready to make a significant impact at TWENTY2.

If you're passionate about solving complex problems, automating workflows, and building reliable systems, we want you on our team. You'll be a key driver of our growth, ensuring that our technology not only stays secure but actively fuels cost savings and revenue generation.

We embrace a culture where we stay curious, win together, and bring positive energy to every challenge. This role is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy innovator to modernize our operations and help our team reach their full potential. To thrive in this position, we prefer previous direct experience in manufacturing or working for a service provider that specializes in manufacturing or wide-format printing.

You'll work closely with leadership to bridge the gap between creative design and manufacturing operations, ensuring our technology stack is as agile and innovative as our work.

The Role

  • Architect and oversee a reliable, scalable IT framework, aligning technology investments with our short- and long-term company goals
  • Manage hardware and software lifecycles — identifying efficiencies, recommending improvements, and executing changes
  • Design, develop, and implement operational efficiency through AI and responsible technology adoption
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, encryption, MFA), and ensure robust, tested backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and manage IP/data archiving policies to responsibly retain high volumes of customer data
  • Propose, implement, and manage our core software applications (CRM, ERP, Project Management), streamlining integrations to eliminate redundant data entry
  • Manage vendor relationships and software licenses
  • Direct help desk activities, onboard new employees to our tech ecosystem, and train staff to use existing tools to their full potential
  • Develop and manage the annual IT budget, oversee hardware procurement and inventory, and monitor software spend to avoid paying for unused seats or redundant tools
  • Oversee IT department operations — recruitment, training, and professional development — fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Direct daily IT service delivery, ensuring system uptime, effective incident response, and adherence to service level agreements

About You

  • Significant experience in IT infrastructure management, ideally at a scaling small-to-mid-size company
  • Strong background in cybersecurity practices and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing core business software — Odoo experience strongly preferred — and the integrations between systems
  • Vendor and software license management experience, with a sharp eye for cost efficiency
  • Proficient with macOS/Apple servers and workstations
  • Google Workspace Administration experience (Google Workspace Sync preferred)
  • Experience with Synology or other NAS systems a plus
  • Comfortable with Python for scripting and workflow automation
  • Strong communication skills — able to train and support non-technical staff effectively
  • Budget management experience and comfort owning ROI accountability for technology spend.

Studies have shown that marginalized communities, such as women, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC, are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Don’t meet all the requirements listed? Please apply anyway if this role excites you and you are eager to learn. At TWENTY2, passion, dedication, and curiosity are the most important factors for success. Please ask about on-the-job training opportunities when applying.

At TWENTY2, our culture is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and purpose. We value open communication, cross-functional teamwork, and a commitment to continuous innovation. Our team is united by a dedication to reliability, inclusivity, and environmental responsibility, with a shared focus on making a meaningful impact for our partners and our community.

TWENTY2 revolves around creativity, so we value engaging employees who enhance our company culture. If you would like to identify your creative type check out the Adobe quiz at mycreativetype.com.   We would love to hear about your results!
