Job Summary:

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to lead complex projects focused on Google Cloud Platform reliability, working closely with stakeholders to manage project schedules and communicate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional teams across the large-scale programs focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) reliability.
• Direct a portfolio of strategic, complex, multidisciplinary programs that significantly accelerate business impact.
• Expand program management best practices for the team and organization and adjust portfolio strategy to address complex changing circumstances across the organization.
• Work closely with the engineering and product leadership team to transform the operations and effectiveness of the broader organization.
• Drive program strategy and lead program teams to deliver business, operational, and technical improvements; orchestrate across a set of cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a technical program management role.
• Experience with site reliability engineering, developer operations, and developer experience metrics.
Preferred:
• 10 years of experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 10 years of experience managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.
• Understanding of the product life cycle in a fluid environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
