This role in summary
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a position within Material Analyst, Warehouse Supervisor.
This role is onsite at our Cleveland, TN facility.
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to our internal materials group to successfully provide innovative methods for material flow, process redesigns, and improvement. This includes managing hourly group leaders and material handlers while working with production and engineering in accordance with Whirlpool's values and goals in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Solid understanding of lean concepts, material flow, quality and productivity/efficiency projects
  • Accountable for developing the most efficient flow of material through the facility
  • Achieve Safety, Delivery and Cost goals
  • Lead receiving in the Purchase warehouse to accurately and timely inbound raw material
  • Drive a culture of Safety, Accountability, and Accuracy
  • Drive cross functional relationships to help achieve plant goals, communication and teamwork

Minimum requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of materials management, warehousing or distribution experience

Preferred skills and experiences
  • 1+ years of experience leading or supervising people
  • 1+ years SAP experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Manufacturing and supply chain concepts and parts flow
  • Developing and using standard of work (SOP's)
  • WCM knowledge: focus on Logistics
  • Use of Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms)
  • Lean Concepts or Change Management experience
