Job description

Sun Nutraceuticals is hiring a full-time Operations & Procurement Coordinator to support daily office operations, client communications, supplier outreach, and cross-functional coordination. This is an on-site role based at 6611 NW 15th Way, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, with regular in-office attendance required.
In this role, you will help answer phone calls, communicate with clients and suppliers, send RFQs to materials and ingredient suppliers, track supplier responses, and support the procurement, quality, and executive teams with administrative and operational tasks.
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating professionally by phone and email. The right person will enjoy keeping tasks moving, following up on open items, and helping multiple teams stay coordinated.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, route inquiries, take messages, and follow up as needed.
- Assist with client communications, including emails, information requests, order-related questions, and general follow-up.
- Prepare and send RFQs to raw material, ingredient, packaging, and service suppliers.
- Track supplier responses, pricing, lead times, documentation, and follow-up items.
- Support procurement with vendor communication, purchase-related documentation, and supplier coordination.
- Assist the quality team with collecting supplier documents such as COAs, specifications, compliance forms, and other quality-related materials.
- Provide administrative support to executive leadership, including scheduling, document preparation, and miscellaneous projects.
- Maintain organized records of supplier quotes, client communications, and internal requests.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure tasks are followed through in a timely and professional manner.
- Help with general office support and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in office administration, customer service, procurement support, operations coordination, or a related role preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional phone and email etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on open items.
- Comfort using email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic business software.
- Experience in dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with RFQs, supplier documentation, COAs, or quality paperwork is a plus.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, in-office position. Regular on-site attendance is required.
Compensation
$20-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
