Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer with strong Kotlin experience to join their mobile development team in Seattle. In this role, you'll work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining Android applications used by thousands (or millions) of users, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver world-class mobile experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Integrate RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred:
