ABOUT THE JOB:

We are the strategic and operational engine for the Consumer Apps Marketing (CAM) organization. Our central Strategy and Operations team partners with Marketing leaders across a vast portfolioโ€”frontier AI initiatives like Gemini App to billion-user products like Google Search and Google Maps. As an agile, entrepreneurial team, we drive the organization's core strategy, scaled operations, research and insights, executive communications, and special projects, as well as analytics and program management for our priority AI initiatives. Our mission is to architect the strategic frameworks and scalable infrastructure that enable our leads to run and scale their teams successfully.

In this role, you will help shape two of the worldโ€™s largest and most beloved products, which touch over a billion people every month โ€“ Google Search and Google Maps. You will sit in the Consumer apps Marketing (CAM) central Strategy and Operations (S&O) team, and be embedded as a part of the fast-paced, dynamic Search and Maps Marketing (SAMM) team.

Youโ€™ll partner with the SAMM Strategy and Operations Lead to work closely with the Executive Director that leads the Marketing team, crafting global strategy, driving annual planning, and streamlining workflows. Youโ€™ll own Maps strategy, and develop and implement strategic business operations to effectively support the teamโ€™s business priorities. Youโ€™ll also support high-stakes strategic projects, such as quarterly business reviews, across both Search and Maps. Youโ€™ll act as the connective tissue across the team and with crossโ€‘functional partners like Finance and Product to identify opportunities for collaboration and create efficiencies in how we work.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the worldโ€™s problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
