About the job

Google Cloud Logistics North America and South America (NASA) Operations team is focused on operating our logistics and supply chain in support of our internal and external customers with the goal of delivering on-time, in full and utilizing efficient practices and waste reduction methodologies.

In this role, you will be the leader of how Google optimizes daily logistics processes while incorporating current industry standards and best practices. You will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement recommendations, managing the implementation of changes within operations, standardizing user documentation, creating processes that motivate action, and interacting with all partner teams. You will initiate and oversee operational improvement efforts for NASA Google Cloud Logistics, analyze operational impacts to inform improvements, work with key stakeholders, motivate innovation within the operational teams, and create presentations or documents for the leadership team highlighting operational performance and improvements. This work will interact with both data center operations and warehouse operations as well.

  • Manage daily logistics operations, material flow, andThird-Party Logistics warehouse/data center vendors, including overseeing budgets, invoices, and capital improvements.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreement (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and vendor scorecards to ensure business continuity and build business cases for process and logistics improvements.
  • Design and execute comprehensive forward and reverse logistics strategies aligned with the organization's long-term business goals.
  • Drive technology-driven automation, reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), optimize capacity, and eliminate obstacles in material flow to lower operational costs.
  • Partner with internal Google teams, carriers, and external vendors to align priorities, reduce delivery cycle times, and scale operations efficiently.
