Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer-Software Quality sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, Colorado.
Ensure that company software and associated hardware meets specific requirements. Write/execute code for automated tests as required for producing a high-quality application while developing software that meets customer needs; perform manual software testing to validate software quality and automated tests; conduct code reviews, meet with peers to discuss test strategies, evaluate automatic test results, and ensure products meet company quality expectations; write automated test codes and create test cases that cover every aspect of the specified software functionality; review test codes for functionality, code coverage, quality, reliability and determine whether it sufficiently covers all conditions for video streaming technology and applications.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering and five (5) years of experience doing Quality Assurance Engineering on streaming applications running on Android, Apple or Google phones, tablets and set top video boxes. Prior experience must also include five (5) years in/with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
  • Real time or live video streaming technology.
  • VS Code, Xcode, Codecept, Detox, Appium, magiQ, and Javascript
  • GitLab, Charles Proxy, JIRA, DynaTrace, Conviva, Bugsnag, Tableau, SourceTree, Confluence, Google Docs, and Google sheets

Compensation: $143,500.00/Year
