Responsibilities:
Minimal Qualifications
• Deep knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and CSS, or other UI / graphics intensive programming experience
• Data visualization and animation experience using D3, Canvas, SVG or WebGL
• Meticulous attention to visual details and frame rate
• Understanding of browser quirks and cross-device challenges
• Experience with performance optimization, profiling and debugging, in-browser and across the whole stack
• Experience developing with a web front end framework, e.g. React, Angular, Ember
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with UI / UX design patterns, e.g. Apple's Human Interface Guidelines or Google's Material Design
• Strong understanding of client application architecture, including MVC
• Understanding of the principles of accessibility; developed for users with disabilities
• Web application development using the React ecosystem
• Experience with API design and implementation
• Experience with mentoring team members and pushing the team to ship
